Video Marketing Your Business Is Really Simple
Video marketing is one of the fastest and most effective ways to promote your business. It is a fact that U tube is the most powerful tool on the internet to get yourself or your business recognised.
You only have to think of the overnight success that was achieved by Justin Bieber solely by being discovered on u tube to realise how powerful a tool it actually is.
Video marketing has become more powerful than the traditional sales letter. Sadly with the sales letter most people skip to the bottom without reading most of the content, whereas with a video the person has to watch it from beginning to the end to know fully what is being promoted. Therefore video marketing has far more influence in promoting your product or business.
The key ingredient to making a successful video is to present good quality content and presentation. This is important in order to capture the interest of the person watching.
It is important not to mumble at the beginning. A good way to immediately capture the viewer’s attention is to pose a question to them and then answer the question for them.
An example of this is:
“Are you looking to change your life by starting a business working from home?”
To which you could answer:
“Yes I thought so ………. which is why you’re probably watching this video.”
Immediately you have engaged with the viewer by pre empting what it is they are looking for and that possibly you will have the solution that they are searching for.
Also you are subconsciously making them compliant by answering “yes” which will help to convince them that you have the product or service that they need.
You will also need to vary the tone of your voice. Generally people react to three different tone of voice namely:
1. Slow- For a more sincere approach
2. Fast- For more passionate approach
3. Rhythmic: For a more melodic voice
When making a video you will need to incorporate all three voice tones in order to suit all people’s preferences. Sometimes you can even use more than one tone in order to provide a contrast and to keep your video interesting.
Make sure that you do not speak in monotone or that will send the viewer into a trance and lose their interest.
The purpose of your video is to take your audience on a journey therefore content and the way that you communicate with your audience is paramount.
In order to keep your video interesting you can continue to pose questions throughout like:
“Isn’t that right?”
Again make sure that you only ask questions where the answer will be yes thus ensuring that you keep the viewer compliant.
If you are trying to sell a product it is effective to create scarcity so the produce becomes more in demand.
For example “Only 7 places left or only 100 items left.”
This will create an urgency to buy the product.
Like with any other form of marketing gaining the customer’s trust is the most important part of your success. Therefore you could try making a few videos first of all without selling anything then introduce a product once the customer has got to know and trust you.
One thing is for certain is that you can achieve huge success through video marketing. You need to ensure though that you get it right in order to maximise your success .It is the most popular and powerful means of communication.
Video marketing is definitely the marketing of the future.
